So what exactly is TESOL?

Gain practical, first-hand experience on one of IVI’s projects with your new TESOL skills! This course will give you a wealth of knowledge to take into a future teaching career. 

What can I expect from my TESOL course?

This award-winning online TESOL Course is designed to take around 60 hours and is done so at your own pace

You will learn everything from fun icebreakers, educational activities, props you can use in the classroom, right down to the nitty gritty stuff like grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, phonology and linguistics.

You will also be taught valuable and helpful skills such as lesson planning, methods of teaching, learning how to settle into a new culture and the secrets on how to find the best jobs and projects overseas.

FAQ for Teaching Abroad with TESOL

Yes! There are 15 speciality courses that can be added on to your TESOL certificate. These are also 60-hour courses, which can be completed online or in person. You can gain extra skills in the areas you are interested in, such as teaching pre-school, children, adults, grammar, private tuition and many more!

Absolutely! The ATA TESOL Foundation Course is an online course, so you can complete it from anywhere with a good Wifi reception.

No. This course can be done separately. However, by choosing to do the course before you begin one of IVI’s projects, it will provide an excellent opportunity to practice your new skills, whilst giving back to underprivileged communities at the same time.

The course is prepared and taught by highly qualified, trained TESOL professionals. Your certificate will be internationally recognised, which means you can teach English in many countries worldwide. You will also have support from online tutors during your course, as well as lifetime employment assistance after you have completed your TESOL course.
